Protecting your emotional health

We constantly dwell on physical and mental health, but what do you know about emotional health? People who are emotionally healthy are in control of their feeling and behavior and can handle problem and difficulties. But with our highly stressful lives today, how do you maintain your emotional health?

  • Appreciate. Be thankful for the good thing you have and pay attention to the positives in life rather then dwelling on the negatives.
  • Relax. Take time to enjoy life. Watch a feel-good movie, read a great book or simply take leisurely stroll.
  • Get creative!. Take up a new hobby that appeals to your creative side. Be it writing, learning a musical instrument, drawing, knitting or gardening, do something thats make you feel good about your self.
