Could antibacterial products cause harm? Some researchers foresee that the widespread use antibacterial product may lead to antibiotic resistance, whereby strains of bacteria are no longer susceptible to these products, however, this idea is not yet proven. Just to be on the safe side, instead of long-term used of antibacterial products, these are other step that can be taken to ensure hygiene.
- Learn the correct technique oh hand washing. The type of soap you use has little impact on spread of germs if you are not washing your hand correctly.
- Select household cleaning products that are environmental-friendly.
- Disinfect cleaning cloths by placing them in boiling water for at lease 30 seconds. You can also place them in microwave for 30 seconds but make sure they do not dry out or contain any metal strips.
