boost your energy-saidaonline

Energy is something  that we take for granted.  A major part of your energy is used for bodily function that you cannot control. In fact, 60-70% of your daily energy requirement goes toward basic function of vital organs like your heart, brain and lungs. Have you been feeling extra lethargic lately? Do you often feel like caching a nap right after lunch? Poor nutrition may have something to do with it. Consuming the right nutrients will keep your energy at optimal level throughout the day.

The key nutrients for energy production are the B vitamins, that convert the carbohydrates and protein into your food into energy. Let’s take a look at how each of the B vitamins works in providing you with energy.

VITAMINS FUNCTION
Vitamins B1 (Thiamine) Helps release energy from carbohydrates.
Vitamins B2 (Riboflavin) Convert carbohydrates, protein and fats into energy.

Vitamins B3 (Niacin)) &

Vitamins B5 (Panthotenic)

Help release energy from food consumed.
Vitamins B6 (Pyridoxine) Essential for the metabolism of protein.
Vitamins B12 (Cynocobalamin) Crucial for the proper digestion of food.
Folic Acid Aids in energy production.
Biotin Aids in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and protein.

Avoid fad diets, as they often encourage you to eliminate certain food groups (eg. protein, fats or carbohydrates). This could leave you feeling exausthed.

Increase your intake of fruits and vegetables, rich in essential vitamins and minerals.

Protein is important for energy, but an excessive amount can strain your kidneys.

A little fat is needed to ensure your body is in top form. About 20-30% of total energy intake should be from fats, the healthiest being monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids.

A low carbohydrate intake will cause the body to break down fats and protein (include your organ and muscle) for energy. Complex carbohydrates are the best, found in food like whole grains and cereals. Simple carbohydrates, eg. honey and sugary food, should not be taken alone – they are best consumed with protein, which maintain blood sugar levels so you don’t get sugar rush!

Magnesium, potassium and iron are also vital energy. Magnesium is involved in the production and transport of energy; potassium aids in carbohydrate metabolism; and iron deficiency leads to anaemia, a symptom which

Correct Way To Store Your Drugs

meds

Will the way i store my medicines affect the potency of the drugs? In what other ways can a drug’s potency be affected? This are the question that i ask my friend last week. He is a pharmacy officer.

The proper storage of medicines is of very great importance to maintain their potency. Proper storage must be strictly observe by manufacturers, distributors, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and patient.

Factor 1 -Moisture

Moisture is a major factor that can alter the potency of drugs that come in powder or tablet form. This is why such medications are kept in air-tight containers with dehydrating agents. Also, don’t keep such medications in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink or in other damp place.

Factor 2- Light

Direct sunlight can destroy the potency of some medicines. That is why the come in amber/dark colored bottles or colored blister film. It is important to keep medications in their original containers or packaging to preserve their potency.

Factor 3 – Temperature

Biological drugs eg vaccines and insulin are damage at room temperature. They must stored in refrigerators at between 2-8 c. Even medications that are not sensitive to temperature should be stored in rooms below 25 c. Warning: Do not leave your medicines in your for long period of time.

Factor 4- Age

Al medications lose their potency over time. The expiry date on the packaging indicates when the pharmaceutical product is no longer within acceptable specifications for potency and stability. It is good practice not to used medications after the expiry date. Not only could they be unsafe, the amounts of active ingredients may reduce.

Factor 5- Air

Many medications react with atmospheric oxygen, and oxidation is a prime cause of degradation. Oxidation is a prime cause degradation. Oxidation is reduced by individual blister packaging.

lose-weight

Today i want to share with you one of the best way to lose your weight. Don’t worry, you don’t need no starvation. In the same time, dont force your self to lose your weight fast. It will make you very pressure. This are the simple tips that your can do:

1. Drink more water – You have to drink everyday. How much water you have top drink? It simple. The theory is you have to devide your total weigh by 2. Example, if your weigh is 180 pounds, so 180 devide by two is 90. So, you have to drink 90 ounces of water a day.

2. Eat – That’s right, eat. You have to eat everyday. Why i’m saying this. If you don’t eat, your body metabolism will going down, it will shut down. So, that’s why you should eat regularly to make sure your body protect you from famine. Eat breakfast is most important to ‘awake’ your metabolism. The fact is, your metabolism will awake after a long sleep at night when you take your meal in the morning and ready to burn your calories.

3. Pump It – Its means, you should build your muscle. Just a litle bit, not to be body-builder. When you increase muscle activity, your metabolism will increase and it will make a lot of calories burned. Your must always be active, just not only in a gym but everyday in your life.

4. Attitude – To obtain a more slimmer body, you should adjust your attitude to more healthy diet. One of the biggest industries out there is the nutrition industry. You need to love the food that you eat. Make sure your eat with healthy food.

5. Get Real – No matter how hard you work to lose your weight, it will not change your body type. Many women in modeling industries feel pressure with their body size and this will effect the eating disorder.
